When  I went looking for a breed that was a wash and wear, intelligent, fun, no ear cropping, no stripping, no clipping, no tail docking and lo and behold the Papillon fit the bill! They are comical, regal and above all the smartest babies I have ever lived with! I tell everyone I meet " Everyone who loves dogs needs to have at least one Papillon in their life just to know what a really smart dog is like".
